Mohua Chinappa is an award-winning author, podcast host, storyteller, and speaker known for bringing powerful, real-life narratives to the forefront across literature, media, and social advocacy. She is the creator and host of The Mohua Show and The Literature Lounge. Spotlighting inspiring voices and stories of resilience, ambition, and change from across India.
Her latest book, Thorns in My Quilt (Rupa Publications), is a deeply personal memoir on grief and healing, written as letters to her late father. Her earlier works include If Only It Were Spring Everyday, Dragonflies of My Dreams—winner of the Emily Dickinson Award—and Nautanki Saala and Other Stories, recipient of the PVLF Best Debut Award, with Hindi rights acquired by Prabhat Prakashan. She is also the recipient of the Yathakatha International Award 2025 in the Best Writer (Female) category.
