In my latest column on Shethepeople TV, I discuss Babita Chouhan’s suggestion to prevent men from tailoring clothes or cutting women’s hair. While the intent is to protect women, it overlooks the root cause: patriarchy. Instead of restricting gender interactions, we should focus on fostering environments of respect and professionalism. True protection comes from challenging patriarchal norms, not limiting opportunities.
